How it ran
The challenge
A subscription box is a hard deadline: the product either makes the month or it doesn't ship at all. Each box is a different product in a different material, so there is no standing production line to fall back on.
Our approach
Matched each box to a factory suited to its material rather than forcing everything through one supplier.
Ran the wood, leather, copper and canvas pieces as discrete made-to-order programmes.
Assembled the multi-piece kits - the cocktail and infusion kit, the copper canvas bag and mallet set - as finished units.
Planned freight backwards from the box date so production and shipping met the month.
What was delivered
Four programmes: a wood planter, a leather-bound notebook, a copper canvas bag and mallet set, and a cocktail and infusion kit.
